The richmond police department has identified the victim of last week’s homicide on broad rock boulevard as edwin d. Gonzales-urbina, 27, of the 600 block of warwick road. At approximately 10:54 pm on thursday, february 14, officers received a call after gonzales-urbina arrived at a local hospital suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Detectives determined the shooting incident occurred in the 3100 block of broad rock boulevard. Gonzales-urbina succumbed to his injuries several hours later. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.Agency
