The birmingham police department is seeking t help from the public in efforts to solve a cold case murder from 2018.The victim, kijuan ulysses harrell was murdered on june 23, 2018. Officers from south precinct responded to the 500 block of valley avenue at 1:22 a.M. To find harrell in the front passenger seat of a vehicle wounded by gunfire. Birmingham fire and rescue responded and transported the victim to uab where he succumb to his injuries.The preliminary investigation indicates shots were fired by someone in a black vehicle believed to be a nissan maxima. No arrest has been made in this case.Agency
