Richmond police department detectives have identified the victim in yesterday’s homicide on phaup street as marcellus taylor. At approximately 1:24 p.M., officers responded to the 2300 block of phaup street for the report of a shooting. Once on scene, they found an adult male, taylor, down and unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death. The major crimes division’s detectives are following up on several leads but are still requesting information from the public regarding this homicide.Agency
