On april 30, 2016, at 8:02 a.M., district four officers responded to 1619 california avenue for a report of a person down in the park. Upon arrival, police officers and fire department personnel located a male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. He has been identified as 18yr old leron lovett.
