86 year old bertha behrent lived alone in her west denver residence. On july 1st, 1975 family members became concerned after they were unable to make contact with bertha. Members of the denver police department responded to the 1700 block of irving street. Upon entry into the home, bertha was found deceased. During the investigation, it was determined that bertha behrent had been beaten and strangled to death by an unknown suspect(s).
