On november 19, 1984, the body of connie louise collins jones was found floating in the hillsborough river underneath the I-75 overpass. The victim had left kentucky hitchhiking to florida. Her last known location was in mcdonough, georgia prior to the discovery of her body in the hillsborough river. The medical examiner ruled the cause of death a homicide.
