In 2003, the former founder of a long-term child health care facility, kim parker, was federally indicted on charges of money laundering and fraud, which were related to the disappearance of a 7-year-old female child, who was in her care, named brittany williams. Brittany disappeared two years prior to the indictments. During this period, parker was questioned in the disappearance of brittany, but no charges were ever brought, and brittany has never been located.
