On tuesday, august 14, 2007, at approximately 10:00 pm, a lone male entered the subway liquor store, located at 500 k street, nw, and apparently became involved in an argument with the store owner over the sale of merchandise. It was at this time that the subject produced a handgun and shot the owner — john shaw — in the body and a 38-year-old male customer in the leg before fleeing. Shaw was originally taken to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead august 24, 2007. The metropolitan police department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.Agency
