Mr. Reed lived alone at his hilltop neighborhood home. Mr reed's housekeeper arrived the morning of may 30, 1997 and discovered mr. Reed unresponsive inside of his residence. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene, but were unable to resuscitate mr. Reed. Due to the suspicious nature of mr. Reed's death, this case was investigated as a homicide.
