On january 19, 2016 at 11:49 p.M. The rochester fire department responded to a house fire at 195 leighton avenue. Upon putting out the fire, the bodies of michael royal, jennifer leasure, lachelle powell, and michael adams were discovered in the upstairs apartment of the two family dwelling. The rochester police department responded to investigate. The investigation revealed all four victims were murdered and the fire was intentionally set after the murders.
