On september 11, 2018 at approximately 3:05 a.M., lvmpd dispatch center received a call reporting a shooting in an apartment complex located in the 4200 block of west rochelle avenue. Arriving officers found a male sitting in the driver seat of a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The investigation by the lvmpd homicide section indicates the victim arrived in the apartment complex and parked his vehicle. As the victim exited his vehicle, an unknown suspect fired multiple rounds into the car, striking the victim. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.Agency
