The richmond police department is investigating a homicide that occurred last week in the city’s east end. At approximately 1:18 p.M., thursday, june 25th, rpd officers were called to the 2600 block of ford avenue for a report of a person who had been shot. When they arrived, they found an adult male outside on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:22 p. M. The victim has been identified as dominic thompson, 31, of richmond.Agency
