The richmond police department has identified the victim of last night’s homicide in richmond’s oak grove neighborhood as husain el-amin, 59, of the 5600 block of iron horse road, chesterfield, va. At approximately 9:38 p.M., tuesday, march 12th, rpd officers were called to the 2300 block of halifax avenue for a report of a person shot. They located el-amin lying on the sidewalk. He had been shot multiple times. Husain was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced shortly before 10:00 p.M.Agency
