On may 4, 2005, david williams was talking to his girlfriend on his cellular phone while pulling into the parking lot of his apartment on the 1900 block of delmar parkway. His girlfriend later told police she heard him get out of his car, as mr. Williams was turning the corner to go to his apartment door a suspect(s) jumped out of the bushes. His girlfriend heard two "Pops" and then heard the phone drop to the ground. David williams was shot twice in the "Upper torso" and later died from his injuries.
