On june 20, 1999, hartford police responded to the rear porch of 272 garden street where officers found the partially clad body of ladawn roberts, age 28, of hartford. Ladawn was last seen alive in the area of albany avenue and garden street at approximately 11 p.M. On june 19, 1999. Earlier that day she was seen on edgewood street in hartford. She was known to frequent the upper albany neighborhood, particularly edgewood and cabot streets. She was 5 feet tall and weighed approximately 130 pounds and was five months pregnant at the time of her death.
