The richmond police department has identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred last night on the city’s south side as leroy williams, iii, 26, of the 2800 block of east broad rock boulevard. At approximately 9:16 p.M., wednesday, june 5th, rpd officers were called to the 3200 block of stockton street for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they located williams lying the roadway. He was pronounced at the scene. The officers also discovered another man on a nearby porch with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.Agency
