On june 7, 1998, portland fire bureau responded at approximately 2:20 am to a single vehicle accident in the tunnel area of the on-ramp to I-405 off of nw 16th avenue and everett street. They found the victim, 33-year-old white male jeffrey steven lange, shot to death inside his car with his car having numerous bullet holes. Jeffrey lange was a passionate golfer with no criminal history. He was described by his friends as an all around great guy and was well-liked by everyone who knew him.Agency
