On june 12, 1980, officers were dispatched to 1800 e. Lancaster avenue. They found sylvia hynes critically injured. An employee from a local company reported the following: an older model, blue-in-color van was traveling westbound at 1700 e. Lancaster avenue. The front passenger door of the van opened and sylvia hynes was apparently pushed out of the vehicle, and fell on to the pavement. The van and its occupants fled the scene. Sylvia hynes died at the hospital, due to trauma to the head.Agency
