On july 30, 2016 at approximately 2:31 a.M., columbus police officers responded to the area of 4544 lakeside south on the report of a male that had been shot. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, later identified as 26yr old cecil r. Johnson, lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. Cfd medic 23 responded and transported mr. Johnson to grant medical center where he underwent emergency surgery but eventually mr. Johnson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 3:53 a.M.Agency
