On may 8, 1997 officers responded to a shot fired call at 4700 n. Elwood. The victim was discovered sitting in a gray oldsmobile running in front of 337 w. 47th place north. The victim had been shot. The victim was transported to the hospital where he later died as a result of the gunshot wound.
