On september 15, 1995, at approximately 1:20 am, two male vietnamese subjects entered the bing kung tong located at 20 nw 4th av. Shortly after their entry, two more vietnamese subjects entered the tong. Once all 4 were inside the tong, one of them announced that this is a robbery and handguns were displayed.. Patrons of the tong were directed to lay on the floor as the 4 subjects began to demand money and valuables. Bing joe, a 61-year-old chinese male, was laying on the floor as directed when one of the vietnamese suspects approached. According to witnesses, as the suspect got near to bing joe, a shot rang out and bing joe was shot as he lay on the floor. All four suspects then fled the tong. Patrons called 911, an ambulance and police responded. Bing joe was transported to ohsu for emergency surgery. He did not survive. An autopsy of bing joe revealed that he died of a single gunshot wound to the chest. The four suspects are described as: vietnamese males, ages 20 to 28 years (in 1995) height ranging from 5’4: to 5’8”, weights ranging from 135 to 150 lbs. All had black hair and two were wearing black jackets. W
