Jazmin catano, a clerk of the court employee, was brutally beaten and shot in the back on june 22, 2013. She died of her injuries. Wanted in connection with her death is her former boyfriend, andres collazos. Manatee sheriff’s department case # 2013-019250. Andres "Andy" mauricio collazos, 24, and jazmin catano, 30, were in a relationship that had broken off. Catano was discovered in a bedroom with signs of trauma to her body after deputies responded to her coral club apartment in bradenton. Detectives believe catano was killed a few nights previous and have named collazos as a person of interest. Collazos is believed to have fled to his native country of columbia after the murder. Catano was reportedly with collazos for more than a year and their relationship had recently turned nearly violent with collazos making threats to catano and causing her to fear him.
