On august 5, 1992, baltimore county police responded to reports of a shooting in the rear parking lot of clayton’s bar and grille that was located at 6719 belair road, 21206 in precinct 9 white marsh. Upon arrival, responding officers found the victim, 35-year-old paul gregory monk, lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. Paul monk was on his way to his car with three other individuals when he was shot by an unknown assailant. Witnesses reported the assailant shot the victim at least twice and then fled the scene. Follow-up investigations indicated that the victim seemed to have been the sole target. No one else was injured.
