On october 20, 2020, patrol officers responded on a shotspotter call to 2281 sullivant avenue, a sunoco gas station. Upon arrival, they discovered shell casings on the parking lot. A couple of minutes later, they received a shooting run at 530 hague avenue, a united dairy farmers. Upon arrival at that scene, they found 29yr old james johnson, shot inside a honda element. Preliminary investigation efforts revealed that two (2) black males, and at least one other unknown suspect in a maroon and gold minivan had been involved with shooting the victim at the sunoco station and had fled. The victim then drove to the united dairy farmers on hague, where the police were called. The victim was transported to grant hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Crime stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
