Info

19-year-old melody rhoades husk disappeared after having drinks with a girlfriend at a nightclub on atlantic boulevard in november 1979. One year later, husk's skeleton was found in the woods near the 2000 block of san pablo road. She'd been stabbed repeatedly. According to a december 1980 story in the palm beach post, a skeleton found during the weekend may be that of a woman seen last leaving a neptune beach discotheque more than a year ago, police said yesterday. Although the remains were being studied by medical examiners, police said it was likely that they were those of melody rhoades husk, 19. Officers said the woman's mother identified a ring and some clothing on the skeleton as belonging to mrs. Husk. The bones were found sunday about 4 miles from the lounge that mrs. Husk and a friend had visited. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the jacksonville sheriff`s office cold case unit at (904) 630-1157 or email jsocrimetips@jaxsheriff.Org.
