On february 27, 2004, at approximately 9 p.M., officers from the denver police department responded to the area of west 25th avenue and clay street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located not only victim jorge ortiz, but also a second victim. Both had been shot and each were transported to a local hospital. Unfortunately, victim jorge ortiz did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased several hours later on february 28, 2004. The suspect(s) responsible for the murder of jorge ortiz have yet to be identified. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the denver police department.Agency
