On april 15, 2023, around 10:30 pm, officers responded to the 700 block of joseph ave for two shotspotter activations of multiple gunshots fired. Officers arrived and were directed to wilkins st. East of joseph ave. Jose arroyo. There they found 42-year-old jose arroyo on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation revealed arroyo may have had a dispute with drug dealers in the immediate area over “drug turf”. Investigators are asking anybody who has any information on the murder of jose to come forward.Agency
