Richmond police detectives have identified the victims from friday’s fatal shootings on rosetta street as jermorlo butler, 38, of aylett, va and demetrise simmons, 42, of richmond. At approximately 1:46 a.M. On friday, officers were called to the 2500 block of rosetta street for the report of a person down. Officers arrived and located two individuals in an apartment with apparent gunshot wounds. The male, butler, was pronounced dead at the scene. The female, simmons, was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries later that day. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.Agency
