On the evening of 1/10/2010, officers were called to mckinley apartments at 6618 e. Latimer pl., apartment 9, in relation to a shooting. Neighbors reported hearing noises coming from the apartment followed by gunshots. One witness chased a black male in a dark hoodie, but the person got away. Officers arrived to find jeffery turner deceased from multiple gunshot wounds inside apartment 9. Evidence indicates more than one suspect was present in the apartment. Turner was 44 years old at the time.Agency
