On november 13, 1999, at 6:47 p.M., officers were dispatched to a reported shooting at 935 w. 24th street. When they arrived, they located the victim, salvador chavez, lying on the sidewalk on the west side of belleview, just south of 24th street. Mr. Chavez had suffered an apparent gunshot and was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information that can help solve this case is asked to call the cold case squad at 816-234-5136.Agency
