On 10-30-2022 at 1041 hours, officers were dispatched to 5627 paloma ave. On a reported dead body in the backyard. Upon arrival, they contacted the 911 caller who stated his dog was digging in the backyard and uncovered a body. An investigation of the crime scene revealed a decomposed female buried in a shallow grave in the backyard. Contact the homicide unit at 816-234-5043 with any information.
