On 01/28/2017 at approximately 1116 hours, officers of the kansas city missouri police department were dispatched to the area of 53rd and brighton ave., kansas city, mo., on a reported dead body. Upon arrival officers were directed to a wooded area south of 52nd and brighton ave., on the west side of the roadway where they observed an unknown black male victim who had no signs of life.
