On december 4, 2016, at approximately 12:47 a.M., columbus police officers were called to the area of 1052 republic avenue on the report of a gunshot and a man lying in the front yard. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male in the yard suffering from a gunshot wound. Cfd medic 16 responded to the scene and pronounced the victim, later identified as 46yr old bernard "Randy" erby, deceased at 12:55 a.M. Witnesses could only describe hearing a gunshot and seeing a small car leaving the scene afterwards.Agency
