Cold case spotlight on june 15, 2005, joshua "Josh" jerome delaney, 22, was shot and killed in the early hours. Colorado springs police department received a call of a shooting that had occurred in the vicinity of london lane and chelton rd. Officers responded and found mr. Delaney deceased inside of his vehicle. Mr. Delaney had been shot numerous times in front of a residence in the 4500 block of london lane. Just prior to the shooting, mr. Delaney had been at the platinum 25 nightclub. It is believed mr. Delaney may have been involved in some sort of altercation at the nightclub. Witnesses described seeing a vehicle parked on street with reverse lights on. Witnesses also reported that they heard people talking, but not arguing, and then gunshots.
