On november 11, 2016, at 7:50 p.M., lvmpd patrol officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of san miguel ave., for reports of a male shot and lying in the street. Patrol officers arrived and located a male later identified as devon whitson lying in the street inside suffering from a gunshot wounds. Medical personnel transported whiston to umc trauma where he was pronounced deceased. Witnesses stated three black male adults were arguing with whitson and his friend prior to the gunshots being heard. The male fled on foot to an unknown location.Agency
