Just after midnight on october 2, 1997, kansas city police were dispatched on an ambulance call to blue river road and chestnut in an isolated area in south kansas city. When they arrived they found 18 year-old mose t. Davis lying in the southbound lanes of the roadway dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The kansas city police department’s cold case murder squad continues to investigate this homicide and believes that someone still has information.
