Around 10:40 a.M. On the morning of april 2, 2004 police responded to the 3400 block of carolina ave on a report of a person shot. After units arrived on the scene they found the victim, frederico tarish hawkins, dead in the middle of the street.According to witnesses a blue oldsmobile was seen leaving the area quickly after the shots were fired. Only one black male occupant was in the oldsmobile.
