The richmond police department has identified the victim of saturday’s homicide on coalter street as malik d. Banks, 21, of the 1300 block of coalter street. At approximately 12:59 p.M. On saturday, april 13, officers were called to the 1300 block of coalter street for the report of random gunfire. When police arrived they located banks in the staircase of an apartment building. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine cause and manner of death.Agency
