On february 28, 1977 officers responded to the holiday inn on fremont pike for an abandoned vehicle. Upon arrival, officers found a lincoln mark iv in the rear lot. Upon further investigation, officers found a deceased male wrapped in a blanket in the trunk of the vehicle. The victim was found to be jerry leirer and he had been shot twice; once in the back of the head and the other in his back.Agency
