On saturday, august 20, 2011 at approximately 11:30 pm, 48 year old victor velasquez was severely beaten by 3 unknown suspects in a dirt field in the area of 31st avenue and buckeye road. A witness observed the assault and called 911, and a nearby business surveillance video reflected the suspects running away southbound across buckeye road. Victor sustained irreparable neurological damage as a result of the attack, severely limiting his ability to function
