On august 02, 2012, the gladstone police department was notified of the disappearance of nancy j. Bowman, 52 years of age, from the mountain view apartment complex. Preliminary reports indicated bowman was last seen on july 31, 2012, in the early evening hours and was walking to gladstone fire station #1 located at 6118 north oak; however, she never made it to that location.On august 08, 2012, the body of nancy bowman was located in a heavily wooded area near the apartment complex. An autopsy was conducted on bowman which revealed she had been stabbed and her manner of death was ruled as a homicide. The case is currently being investigated by the gladstone, missouri police department.Agency
