On january 1, 1978, 49-year-old jose figueroa martinez was shot to death inside mr. R’s lounge, located on us hwy 17/92 in haines city. Another victim was also shot, but survived his injuries. The suspect, an unknown mexican male, fled the scene in a dark-colored camaro with michigan tags.
