On january 2, 2017 at approximately 9:13 p.M., lvmpd patrol officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 2200 block of exeter drive to investigate multiple reports of shots fired and a man identified as robin mcbride down on the ground. Mcbride was lying in the street, suffering from apparent multiple gunshot wounds. Mcbride was transported to the umc trauma center where he was pronounced deceased a short time later. The investigation initiated by the lvmpd homicide section indicated residents in the area heard a verbal argument, then multiple gunshots, and saw mcbride lying on the ground. Preliminary information indicated there were 3-5 individuals seen running from the area after the shots were heard.Agency
