During the early morning hours of july 22, 1992, denver police officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of west 42nd avenue and irving street, in northwest denver. Upon their arrival at the crash site they discovered the body of 30 year- old, college student/call girl, leah lobmeyer. Leah had been called out a few hours earlier. Leah's body was seated in the passenger seat of her car. Investigation of the crime scene determined leah's cause of death to be strangulation.
