On january 3, 1993 the victim was discovered in a vacant lot behind and to the east of the pit stop convience store located at 1627 n. Peoria. The victim sustained blunt force trauma to the face, which was determined to be the cause of death. Robbery is a possible motive. The victim was reported to suffer from alzheimer's disease.
