On june 27, 1995, at about 10:40 p.M., officers responded to the 1200 block of ne failing street, to reports of a shooting. Officers learned that the victim, patrick curry, a 16-year-old, african-american male, was transported to a local hospital. Mr. Curry later died the hospital from an apparent gunshot wound. Witnesses reported seeing an african-american male standing through the sunroof of a vehicle moments before the shooting occurred. The vehicle was described as similar to a late 1980’s chevrolet monte carlo that was light in color. The vehicle was last seen headed eastbound on ne failing street.
