On september 5, 2003 at approximately 10:05 a.M., fifty two year old nancy clarke leonard was reported missing to the anne arundel county police department. She was last seen on the evening of september 4, 2003 as she walked down the street away from her residence. On october 4, 2003 at approximately 2:25 p.M., a construction company doing some work in the area in the area of old mill bottom road, arnold, maryland came across human skeletal remains. Through dental records the skeletal remains were positively identifed as mrs. Leonard. Mrs. Leonard suffered trauma to the upper body with the manner being homicide.
