During the early morning hours of july 20, 1980, 21 year old xavier quiroz-limones was riding in a vehicle and became involved in a verbal altercation with the occupants of another vehicle. Both groups stopped their vehicles in the 3700 block of vallejo street at which time a physical altercation ensued. Mr. Quiroz-limones was attacked by the unknown suspect(s) to the point where he was knocked unconscious. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, but died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the fight.
