On february 3, 1983, the victim's burned body was found next to a dumpster located near 2350 south jason street. The positive identification of the victim was unknown at the time, but on october 16, 2019 the victim was positively identified through dna comparison and genetic genealogy as hope waddell. Hope's family spent 36 years looking for answers to her disappearance. The recent news of her tragic death has brought a new level of grief. Hope was a daughter and a mother.
