On march 13, 2024, at about 2:30 am, ambulance personnel responded to the boarding house at 489 west ave. For the report of an unresponsive male. 55-year- old, jose olivencia was found dead in his upstairs apartment. Olivencia’s death was ruled a murder. Investigators believe his murder is connected to an argument and fight earlier in the evening.
